Dual Speed Control

About Dual Speed Control

Dual Speed Control lets you set the brushing power to work with your needs. Choose normal speed for optimal plaque removal and reduced speed for gentle cleaning.

How it Works

Each time you turn on your Sonicare, the unit will begin brushing in the normal power setting.

How to change the speed setting

From normal to reduced power:

Press the Dual Speed Control button once during brushing.

From reduced to normal power:

Press the Dual Speed Control button a second time during brushing. A distinctive two-tone 'beep' indicates the speed setting has been changed.

It is recommended that you brush at the normal power setting to maintain best overall results. Use the reduced speed for sensitive areas or for extended brushing on areas with special conditions.

Benefits

If areas of your mouth are especially sensitive, don't avoid brushing them altogether. Simple use the reduced power setting and brush with less pressure.
